Over the past few years, I've been exposed to a wide variety of different broadcast environments and projects. Below are just a few examples of shows and companies I've done professional broadcasts with. When it comes to projects of any scale, I go above and beyond to do my best work in any position. Together with others, I've created high-quality broadcasts for various groups, companies, and clients.
Q News & Q Sports
Fall 2020 Director & Assistant Director
Q News and Q Sports is High Point University's professionally run news broadcast. Led by professors, students in the journalism major work together to publish stories under this name. For our weekly broadcasts, I assisted in all studio positions, but heavily focused on Directing during the Fall 2020 semester in my Studio Practicum class. Below, you can see a POV of me while I'm directing the show in our control room.

ESPN3 & ESPN+ Athletic Broadcasts
2019 - Present | High Point University
Starting in my freshman year and on, I've been on almost every single ESPN3 and ESPN+ broadcast for. High Point University. I've assisted as a Production Assistant, Camera Operator, Graphics Operator, Replay Operator, Technical Director, and Director. To date, I've worked over 60 D-1 games broadcasted to ESPN.
I've also had the opportunity to direct a nationally televised ESPN3 basketball game at High Point University. I am the only freshman with this opportunity to date. Click here to watch the broadcast.

River Oaks Community Church
Digital Media Production Intern
During the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was hired to help River Oaks Community Church (ROCC) get their services converted to an online broadcast. I built new workflows, trained volunteers, rebuilt their control room, deployed Panasonic robotic camera systems, and produce/directed various Sunday services reaching over 1,000 members.

High Point University Broadcast Club
During my time at HPU, I've had the amazing opportunity of Directing various different student-run productions, as well as assist other student productions. I've done Producing, Directing, Technical Directing, CCU, Xpression Clips operator, Xpression Graphics operator, Teleprompter, Audio, Grip, and Camera operator.
At HPU, I'm a Student Producer. Student Producers students who faculty give advanced training on studio equipment. Once trained, these students are allowed to lead student productions and book studio times for clubs, projects, or broadcasts.

High Point University's Extraordinary Experience
Director, Fall 2020 HPU Live Documentary Screening
High Point University Nido R. Qubein School of Communication's Journalism 4881 class proudly presents, "Confronting COVID-19: High Point University's Extraordinary Experience". Created, shot, edited, and produced all during the Fall 2020 semester, this short documentary follows the challenges students and college administrators faced under the COVID-19 pandemic.
This special broadcast was aired live on November 23, 2020 to a live studio audience. Followed directly after the live screening, all the students who worked on creating this short documentary sat and held a Q/A with Professor Bob Buckley (FOX8 Anchor).
Congratulations to everyone in this class! Proudly filmed on High Point University's extraordinary campus and aired live in their state of the art broadcast studio, entirely run by students.
